Hi there and thanks for visiting my site. My name is Lisa Young and I have been a fully trained professional in Manicure, Pedicure and Waxing since 2004. I now offer Manicure, Pedicure, Waxing, Shellac and Minx Nails in Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch either in my beauty room at my home, or mobile to you if you prefer to enjoy your treatment in the comfort of yours.
Having left the corporate world when my daughter was born, I have had the chance to do something I wanted to do ever since I left school and make a career out of my passion for beauty and making others feel good about themselves.
As well as the high-fashion work I do for young ladies, I know that looking and feeling good is just as important to ladies of a “certain age”, I can adapt my range of colours
and treatments to suit everyone. I really enjoy working with my “Vintage Belles” and guarantee that a good beauty session with me will leave you relaxed, happy and with that all important feel good factor.
I am also a mum to a lively daughter so I understand how difficult it is for us mums to set aside time for a little pampering and “maintenance”. Because of this, I am very flexible on time and try hard to fit in with my clients. I have been known to do a few Sundays as well as Bank Holidays for Weddings and other special occasions!
I am very down to earth but care passionately about providing a professional service I also care about providing a good service, so I do not do quick treatments. I believe the only way you will get a good “paint job” for example, is to pay particular attention to the nail plate and through soaking, cuticle work and massage, prepare it for proper and lasting polish adhesion. My minimum amount of time to spend on a manicure would be about an hour, which would allow for welcoming you, filling out your client card and making sure that you are relaxed and comfortable. Pedicures will always take longer as there is invariably hard skin to exfoliate and scrub, so a good pedicure is likely to take around an hour and a quarter.
